Errecinque was founded in 1981 by the entrepreneurial
farsighted vision of its founder, who, thanks to twenty years of
technical and commercial experience gained together with the
largest Italian group in the field of automotive and industrial
vehicles (Fiat and Iveco), decides to undertake a new challenge.
From a simple centre of flexible pipes assembling, the company
grows and changes over the years, starting to manufacture
flexible pipes made of thermoplastic material.
Quality and professionalism increase thanks to the considerable
investments in advanced technology and to the highly qualified
staff; the research and development department allows the
company to expand in the international area.
Fast response time to technical needs and flexibility in
adapting to market changes have always been the company strength
points.
In 1988 Errecinque makes the first leap in quality
becoming a significant supplier for Iveco: the development of a
new application, the air brake system, which employs an
alternative and innovative material, allows the customer a major
saving in economic and technical levels.
In 1990, thanks to that new type of material, Errecinque
starts manufacturing pipes for high pressure, that is pipes
reinforced by one or two layers of polyester braiding. The pipes
assembly is carried out inside the manufacturing plant, allowing
Errecinque to provide customers with products ready to be set up
on the vehicles: the entire production cycle takes place in
Errecinque, depending no more on external suppliers.
In 1995 the braiding department is moved to the site in
Cosenza.
In 1996 Errecinque acquires a small manufacturing company
of metal fittings to be set up and crimped on the pipe ends.
This new-born mechanical department guarantees Errecinque
autonomy and flexibility, key issues for a company that produces
and offers hundreds of different items, often in small-medium
batches.
In the late '90s Errecinque strengthens its commercial position:
many more pipes, traditionally made of metal, are replaced by
plastic ones, offering the advantage of being lighter, less
noisy and less bulky.
Thus Errecinque develops one of the most important departments
for the company, the thermoforming.
In 2000 Errecinque starts the new lines of co-extrusion (to
produce pipes of different materials in one step only) and
corrugation (to give pipes more flexibility at certain points of
their drawing and development).
The same year Errecinque sets up a new production line for blow
moulded plastic pipes, which can replace the pipes made of metal
and rubber, or of aluminium, in the suction systems of cars and
industrial vehicles.
These activities are all located in the plant in Cosenza, thus
contributing to the development of a region historically known
as "depressed area".
These new technologies open new horizons and the turnover
steadily grows.
In 2003 and 2004 Errecinque enlarges the plant in
Leině (Turin), improves the production capacity with new
technologies and makes the logistics more functional, increasing
company reliability and competitiveness.
Following a process of continuous growth and diversification
from the traditional core business in the automotive sector,
Errecinque opens a third production unit in Bologna for the
assembling and sale of pipes and fittings for industrial air
conditioning and refrigeration.
In 2006 Errecinque absorbs a company located in Volpiano,
in the outskirts of Turin, specialised in moulding of plastics
and rubber: a further step to meet the increasing market demands.
The establishment in Volpiano is able to produce components of
rubber, of advanced thermoplastic materials, even blow moulded
ones, for both automotive and industrial vehicles.
Unit of Leině , Cosenza and Volpiano of the Errecinque group are
certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949 : 2009 at
each stage of their processing .
Unit of Bologna is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 at each
stage of hits processing.
Errecinque nowadays is internationally known as a reliable and
competitive partner for a significant number of national and
European manufacturers in the automotive field.
